JOB DETAILS:

Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
Learn and assist with executing production oilfield operations and cooperate with production maintenance team.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in executing new oil field production and start-up. commissioning
• Assist to collect and follow up on production-related issues left out by the engineering team.
• Learn to manage emergency response as per the emergency response plan.
• Get familiar with production process, central control system, ESD, Fire & Gas system, equipment parameters and operation procedure, chemical MSDS and characters, system initial and normal start-up procedure and emergency shutdown procedure.
• Learn how to carry out routine operations, deal with production abnormalities to avoid production shutdown, equipment damage or any petroleum-related leaking.
• Participate in operating Oil Water\ Gas and chemical processes, maintain process stability, treat oil and water to meet specifications.
• Learn to execute production-related equipment normal routine check and records, report abnormalities to senior operators in a timely
• manner.
• Assist to carry out production-related equipment preventive maintenance.
• Ensure worksite cleanliness and safety is maintained.
• Assist in coordinating and Supervising production-related contractor onsite work.
• Perform other duties assigned by superiors.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related fields.
• At least 0-2 years' work experience is preferred with Oil & Gas industry background.

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of development and production.
