JOB DETAILS:
Golden Crane Investment Limited operates hotels around Kampala and western Uganda. These hotels are medium – large size in operations. The Management of Golden Crane Investments ltd is seeking to recruit staff to manage these hotels. The following positions are vacant and management seeks applications to fill them.
Position: 4 House Keeper/ Room attendents
The house keeper will attend to guest rooms. Specifically he / she will be responsible for the following;
• Clean the guest rooms as per the hotel standard guidelines
• Replace linen with clean ones, the bed sheets, towels and sanitary sundries such as toilet paper, soap, spray and water.
• Prepare the room for the next guest
• Deliver used linen to the laundry for washing and ironing or used utensils to the kitchen.
• Report broken appliances for repair or blocked systems for fixing to the respective technical persons such as the plumbers, technician, carpenter etc. and follow it up to make sure it is done.
• Spray the rooms with insecticides at 6pm and ensure windows or doors are closed.
Qualifications
• A minimum of O’level with additional training in housekeeping/catering as an added advantage.
• Experience of 2-3 years in a similar job in a medium to large size hotel is needed
