CNOOC INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

CNOOC Uganda Limited yet again, is pleased to announce scholarship opportunities for young Ugandans to improve their knowledge and skills in Oil and Gas. Applications are now open for four (4) Ugandan nationals to undertake a bachelors degree of Petroleum Engineering at the China University of Petroleum, East China .
This Bachelors Program will be for a duration of four (4) years and will be undertaken in English language. The scholarship will cover tutition fees, medical insurance, accomodation at student's residence, monthly living allowances and return airticket.

Eligibility Criteria;
• Ugandan Nationals
• Should be between 18-24 years Should have their A LEVEL Certificate with outstanding grades in science subjects
• Female applicants and applicants from the host districts of Kikuube and Hoima are encouraged to apply
• Applicants should be committed to returning to Uganda after their studies.

Selection Criteria
• Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and the applicants will undertake a number of interviews with CNOOC and the host university.
• The Final selected applicants should be ready to travel to China therefore should have a valid passport, National Identity card, Covid 19 certificate, yellow fever card and other relevant travel documents.
