JOB DETAILS:
The Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU), in collaboration with Yalelo Uganda, is implementing the Young Africa Works – for Youth Employment Project. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Temporary Data Collectors to support this initiative aimed at empowering youth in the surrounding communities, including Jinja, Iganga, and the Kampala Metropolitan area.
JOB TITLE: DATA COLLECTORS – PSFU PROJECT (05) REF: YUL/DC-PSFU/05/2024. (TEMPORARY JOB OPENING)
Reports to Project Lead

Job Duties
• Conduct a survey about the project, ensuring all responses are accurate and complete by following detailed survey instructions.
• Complete all assigned surveys within the designated period.
• Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all collected data throughout the data collection process.
• Attend a mandatory onboarding and training session to comprehensively understand the project, survey instrument, data collection procedures, and quality assurance measures.

Required Technical Skills, Training & Experience.
1. Minimum of Diploma in any field
2. Must be able to operate a Computer, Tablet, or Smartphone.
3. Must have keen attention to detail, and ability to analyse data.
4. Previous experience conducting surveys (preferred).
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
7. Possession of a smartphone with reliable internet access
8. Must be aged between 18-30 years old.

NB:
1. The work will involve constant movements to different locations within the assigned areas. Must be a residence from any of the following areas; Kampala, Jinja, and Iganga
2. This position is temporarily available for Five (05) days from 10th to 14th June 2024
