JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose / Objective:
Provide support to manage the operations of the asphalt plant, including the production, quality control, maintenance, and safety of asphalt materials.
Ensuring the availability of high-quality asphalt mixtures for construction projects while maintaining a safe and efficient plant operation.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
• Plant Operations: Coordinate and supervise the production of asphalt mixtures in the plant.
• Quality Control: Ensure that asphalt mixtures meet specified quality standards and design requirements.
• Equipment Management: Manage the operation, maintenance, and repairs of the asphalt plant equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Resource Allocation: Assign tasks and allocate resources to plant operators and maintenance staff.
• Material Stockpile: Manage and organize stockpiles of raw materials used in asphalt production.
• Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in asphalt plant operations.
• Maintenance Planning: Schedule routine maintenance and repairs for asphalt plant equipment.
• Problem Solving: Address challenges related to asphalt production, equipment breakdowns, and quality issues.
• Reporting: Provide accurate reports on production, quality control, maintenance, and safety metrics.
• Documentation: Maintain records of work completed, equipment usage, and daily activities.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with construction teams to communicate test results and provide recommendations.
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

• Asphalt Production Efficiency: Efficient production of high-quality asphalt mixtures.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that asphalt mixtures meet quality and design standards.
• Safety Record: Maintaining a safe work environment and minimizing incidents in the asphalt plant.
• Equipment Utilization: Efficient use and maintenance of asphalt plant machinery.
• Resource Allocation: Effective allocation of labor and equipment resources in the plant.
• Budget Adherence: Staying within allocated budget for asphalt plant operations.
• Environmental Compliance: Adherence to environmental regulations and best practices.
• Maintenance Efficiency: Timely and effective maintenance of asphalt plant equipment.
• Timely Reporting: Providing accurate reports on production, quality control, maintenance, and safety.
• Communication: Effective communication with project team members, contractors, and suppliers.

Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
• Leadership: Ability to lead and manage asphalt plant operators and maintenance staff.
• Asphalt Plant Operations Knowledge: Strong understanding of asphalt production methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Quality Control Expertise: Skill in ensuring asphalt mixtures meet specified quality standards.
• Safety Focus: Prioritizing safety and enforcing safety protocols in asphalt plant operations.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing challenges related to asphalt production, equipment maintenance, and quality.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with asphalt plant machinery, equipment maintenance, and production processes.
• Environmental Awareness: Understanding and adhering to environmental regulations and practices.

• Working experience: Possession 3 years working experience obtained in equivalent capacity.
