The Rollout Support Staff will be a key link in the support of the Enhanced Science Curriculum project in Primary and Secondary schools. This role involves the support of all activities related to the preparation, distribution, and implementation of the curriculum in schools.

Fundi Bots promotes improved practical science education in African schools and communities through the provision of hands on skills and project-based training with a strong focus on rural and underprivileged regions and a push for equitable inclusion for Girls.
Fundi Bots’ mission is to accelerate science learning in Africa.
To achieve this, we use practical learning tools like robot-building to improve learning outcomes. Through the process of building robots, the students get practical skills in computer science, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, computer programming and soft skills like project management, teamwork and innovation.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Rollout Support Staff will be a key link in the support of the Enhanced Science Curriculum project in Primary and Secondary schools. This role involves the support of all activities related to the preparation, distribution, and implementation of the curriculum in schools. The specific responsibilities associated with this role are:

KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Prepare learning materials and organize teaching and Learning files to be used in class lessons
2. Monitor learning materials inventory
3. To deliver tools given to designated schools by Fundi Bots
4. Assembly of teaching aids and pack tools for delivery
5. Assess how well-suited the student manual is for the learners.
6. Pick the timetable for the class lessons.
7. Completing tools when asked by the ESC team.
8. Designing tools to use in school.


ABOUT YOU
Education
1. A degree or diploma in science education (Primary)
2. A degree in Education (Physics) is preferred

Experience:
1. A background in education
2. At least one year of previous work experience is required
3. Basic ICT skills are required
4. Good track record with children

Skills:
1. Communication skills

3. Collaboration skills
4. Organization skills

Applicants should reside in the region of the office where they are applying to work.
