JOB DETAILS:
The Pentecostal Churches of Uganda ( PCU ), Kalyamenvu United Pentecostal Church and Pentecostal Assemblies of God invite applications from suitably qualified mature born-again Christians to serve in Child Ministry in their churches at Kigumba, Bweyale, Kihonda and Kalyamenvu in Masindi, Kiryandongo and Lyantonde Districts.
Job Titles: 8 Child & Youth Development Officers (Sponsor Donor Relations & Health)
Provision of information needed by sponsors donors. Child and Youth Development officers report to the Project Director. These are team members and must exhibit a high sense of integrity and they are members of church staff..

  Core Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serve as an advocate for children and caregivers.
• Take lead of the children's and sponsor's correspondence, communications and child updates.
• Ensure monitoring and tracking of child participation in the program.
• Initiates generation of the annual health work plan and coordinates its implementation with emphasis on prevention of diseases among others
• Co-ordinates medical care and distribution of provisions
• Ensures proper documentation and record keeping oiall health records.
• Works closely with the local church in developing their childcare ministry.
• Responsible for the physical, cognitive and economic development of the sponsored children.
• Plans and co-ordinates health related trainings, information, education and communication {IEC}
• Previous supervisory experience desired.
• Age: 25-35.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
• Must be a mature born-again Christian with a sound testimony.
• Must have a professional background in any of the following: Nursing, Primary Healthcare, Community Health, Clinical Medicine, and Education/Social Work Administration. Social Work & Social Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education, Communication, Records Management and any related disciplines
• Minimum qualification will be diploma or its equivalent
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Experience and current knowledge.
