Job Description:
The Project Communications Coordinator will play a key role in driving impactful communication strategies for CIFOR-ICRAF’s projects. The role involves crafting compelling narratives, managing digital and media outreach, and engaging stakeholders across diverse sectors. The coordinator will oversee a portfolio of projects, adapting communication strategies based on location, themes, and target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication Strategy: Develop and implement communication strategies, including key messages, target audiences, and suitable channels.
2. Content Creation: Produce multimedia content (articles, web content, social media, videos, infographics, etc.) and ensure quality control.
3. Media Relations: Build media relationships, coordinate press conferences, and monitor media coverage.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop materials to engage stakeholders (fact sheets, presentations, brochures) and organize events, workshops, and campaigns.
5. Monitoring & Evaluation: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce analytical reports for management and donors.
6. Crisis Communication: Develop contingency plans and manage reputational risks.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with donor visibility requirements and branding guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic communications planning and monitoring.
o 3 years of experience in writing, editing, and producing content for digital and print media.
• Languages: Excellent English skills (verbal and written); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesian, French, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of digital media and social media trends.
o Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and coordinate content across teams.
o Background in environment, climate, forestry, or related fields is desirable.
