Role Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the organization's financial health through meticulous record-keeping, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Monitor budgets and financial expenditures to ensure alignment with the organization's goals.
• Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other key metrics for review by management.
• Support audits and liaise with auditors to ensure accurate and efficient auditing processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including timely preparation and submission of tax returns.
• Maintain and update financial systems and software.
• Provide financial insights and advice to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in accounting and finance.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
