Job Advert: Accounts Assistant
A leading business law firm is seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant.
Roles and responsibilities
• Maintain, manage and record day-to-day transactions.
• Inspect, verify and reconcile accounts receivable and payables records and their balances.
• Assist in preparation of annual accounts and annual budget.
• Manage office expenditure within the expenditure budgetary limits.
• Perform reconciliation of banking transactions.
• Prepare various financial statements and records periodically
• Perform and provide analysis support for key departments in managing budgets.

Qualifications and attributes
• A diploma in Finance and Accounting from a recognized Institution.
• A good knowledge and understanding of EFRIS
• Minimum experience of 2 years of Finance / Accounting practice
• Ability to use Excel spreadsheets and other MS office programs is a must.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Willingness to go an extra mile in executing assignments

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Associate Degree
