JOB DETAILS:

Nakasero Hospital is a private hospital that was started by a group of Consultant Doctors in 2009 who came together with a goal of setting up a world class hospital that would meet the healthcare needs of Ugandans and East Africans who were seeking medical treatment outside the region, due to the gap in quality healthcare services in the country.

As such we are looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of an Accounts Officer

Interested candidate should be able to;
To provide support to the cashiering and accounting unit in the Cafeteria through analyzing, reconciling, inspecting and verifying accounts and any other financial information

The post holder is required to:-
1. Record all cafeteria financial transactions
2. Keeping track of the inventory & cash flow
3. Generate routine consumption needs and share same with procurement
4. Verify store issuances and sales made
5. Ensure that all revenues due are collected from credit sales
6. Control usage of consumables
7. Participate in the monthly stock take exercise and generate a report for review
8. Ensure the Financial Information System is functional and fully utilized
9. Generate monthly income statements on sales, supplies, and production
10. Prepare staff meal budgets monthly
11. Monitor expenditure & profits and provide reports
12. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Competencies/Abilities:
1. Proven experience as an Accounts Officer in a FMCG Industry or Hotel or Institutional Catering environment
2. Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
3. Proficiency in management systems.
4. Supervisory & Administration skills.
5. Proficiency in Computer use (Microsoft Excel) and ERPs
6. Self-motivated and result orientated


Qualifications and Experience
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related
2. Two (2) years of experience in the field

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
