JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative functions of the organization, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to enhance resource mobilization efforts, including identifying new funding opportunities, engaging with donors, and fostering strategic partnerships.
3. Lead trade-related initiatives by conducting market research, identifying export/import opportunities, and facilitating capacity building programs to promote trade growth.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute brand-building strategies, promoting the organization's mission and expanding its reach through effective communication and marketing initiatives.
5. Advocate for appropriate legislation, practices, and policies that eliminate bottlenecks and create a conducive environment for economic development, working closely with relevant stakeholders and government bodies.
6. Engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders, including industry associations, community organizations, and donor agencies, to foster collaboration, leverage resources, and drive synergies for economic growth.
Requirements and Skills:
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5 years in administration, trade, resource mobilization, or a related field, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects and achieving desired outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of administrative processes, trade regulations, and resource mobilization strategies, with the ability to effectively apply them in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of legislative processes and a passion for economic development, demonstrating a proactive approach to advocating for effective policies and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering teamwork, innovation, and a results-oriented culture.
