JOB DETAILS:
Monitor Cooperative Savings & Credit Society Limited was incorporated in June 2001. and is a fully registered entity with current membership of over 800 and members’ savings currently in excess of UGX. 3 Billion. The SACCO has proper management structures and fully functional offices that enable it run its day to day business. The SACCO seeks to recruit a talented and qualified individual to fill the vacancy below:
Administrator
JOB ROLE:
The jobholder shall be responsible for the overall running of the office including, book keeping, data administration, and marketing of the SACCO .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADMINISTRATION
• Promptly create and update membership records, shares and deposits in respective database
• Receive and review all member loan applications Track the performance returns of the SACCO Unit Trusts and other income-generating sources of the SACCO
• Prepare and submit monthly management reports for management committee review.
• Receive loan applications from members and record them in the credit register, and advise the credit committee secretary accordingly.
• Prepare payment of supplier invoices, allowances and other internal payments using the bank online platform
• Prepare demand letters to loan defaulters and guarantors
• Send communications to members meetings, loan repayment reminders etc
• Manage dormancy by notifying members who skip their monthly contributions.
• Respond to members queries on lending procedures and update of their accounts.
• Review monthly expenditure and recommend areas where savings can be made.
• Carry out Bank agency roles of delivering bank correspondences and collection of cash from the Banks.
MARKETING
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to sell the various products to members
• Use the digital platform to market the SACCO
• Represent the society in any awareness forum as directed by supervisor
• Develop online SACCO newsletter and marketing brochures and distribute
• Develop personal approved initiatives of recruitment of new members to the SACCO

REQUIRED ABILITIES & COMPETENCES:
• A Bachelor's degree majoring in Accounts/Finance
• Diploma in Co—operative Management (will be an added advantage)
• ACCA II /CPA Level III
• 3 years’ working experience
• Social Meda tech savvy
• Good accounting knowledge, especially in preparation of financial statements
• Self-starter with initiatives
• Solid knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
• Excellent multi-tasking ability and attention to detail
