Self Help Africa (SHA) is an International Non-Governmental Organisation implementing rural development, sustainable food and livelihoods security programmes in nine countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. SHA's vision is an economically thriving and resilient rural Africa with a mission to support sustainable livelihoods for Uganda’s smallholder farmers. SHA has been working in Uganda for close to 20 years.
SHA in partnership with UN World Food Programme (WFP) and four District Local Governments (DLGs) are implementing the Agriculture and Market Support (AMS) project in Masindi, Kiryandongo, Omoro and Adjumani Districts.
The projects overall objective is to contribute to resilient and diversified livelihoods for smallholder farmers, especially women. SHA urgently seeks to recruit suitable candidates to till the positions of Agribusiness Project Manager and Project Officer for the AMS Project.
Post: Agribusiness Project Manager (Based in Kiryandungo District)
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Programmes, the Project Manager (PM) is responsible tor ensuring the development of sustainable and profitable agri-enterprises (cooperatives, agro processors, micro businesses, buyers, input dealers) that will improve the competitiveness of agricultural producers to respond to new and expanding market opportunities.

 Key areas of responsibilities include:
• Technical oversight;
• Project Leadership and Management;
• Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Evaluation and Learning;
• Network and Relationship building
