About Us:
We are a growing commercial farm operation in Uganda, producing high-quality tomatoes, capsicum, and onions. As we expand our production and distribution capabilities, we’re looking for a talented Market Intelligence Specialist to join our team and help us stay competitive and strategic in a dynamic market environment.

Role Summary:
This role combines on-the-ground market research with data-driven strategy. You'll be responsible for tracking daily market trends, engaging with key buyers, analyzing competitor movements (especially imports), and delivering actionable insights that guide our sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily prices and supply levels at major markets (e.g., Nakasero, Owino).
• Track competitor activity, particularly cross-border imports.
• Build and manage relationships with buyers, vendors, and market influencers.
• Recommend optimal selling times, pricing, and negotiation tactics.
• Identify new sales channels and direct market opportunities.
• Prepare daily reports and weekly market trend analysis.
• Support price negotiations using real-time data insights.

Ideal Candidate:
• Background in agricultural trading, market research, or similar fields.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and numerical confidence.
• Familiar with local markets and trading dynamics.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for data collection and reporting.
• Trustworthy, flexible, and proactive in the field.

What We Offer:
• Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
• Opportunities for growth and professional development.
• Supportive, results-driven work environment.
• The chance to contribute meaningfully to a growing agricultural venture.
