JOB DETAILS:
On behalf of our client, we seek to recruit a highly competent, hardworking and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Branch Manager. The Branch Manager will be responsible for the efficient and profitable management of the branch. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high- quality customer service, and driving the branch to achieve its financial and strategic goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize workflow.
• Manage inventory, including procurement, storage, and distribution of cocoa products.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise branch employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage the branch budget, monitoring financial performance.
• Implement strategies to achieve financial targets and increase profitability.
• Oversee financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Marketing:
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to meet branch targets.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
• Prepare marketing forecasts and reports for senior management.
Quality Control:
• Ensure the quality of cocoa products meets industry standards and customer expectations.
• Implement quality control processes and conduct regular inspections.
• Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance to senior management.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure operational and financial integrity.

Skills and requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field.
• At least four (4) years of experience in a managerial role, preferably within the cocoa or related industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
• Knowledge of cocoa production, processing, and quality control is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software application
