Newrest Uganda is the only major catering company active in all catering and related hospitality segments including airline catering, contract catering, remote site and support services, railway catering, airport and motorway retail concession.
Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is an ISO certified company based at Entebbe International Airport with various outlets across the Country. Newrest is looking for a qualified and experienced person to fill the following positions:

Reporting to: Executive Chef Direct Supervisor:
Executive Chef Projects Coordinates closely with:
Stores/ Procurement, QC and Maintenance
Profile
• Previous experience with catering / hospitality industry minimum of two years
• Previous experience in menu designing . Good communications
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Customer oriented.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensures that HACCP, SOPs, food safety, hygiene requirements throughout the kitchen are maintained
• Ensures that menu specifications are adhered to on daily basis as per customer's requirements, any deviations to be reported immediately to Executive Chef. For rectification
• Liaises with stores department and ensure that missing items are replenished in time
• Communicates to Maintenance personnel in case of any need to service machines or machine breakdown
• Attends to incoming orders.
