Assistant Fluids Supervisor

On behalf of our Client in the Extractives sector, we are looking for (a) competent individual(s) to fill the following position:
POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION
Job Title: Assistant Fluids Supervisor
Direction: Tilenga Project
Location: Kampala

ACTIVITIES
At all times the job holder will:
• Assist the FSV to maximize all Fluids, Cement and Waste activity
• Acquire knowledges and experiences on all fluids, cement and cutting waste treatment operations.
• Get trained and acquire good knowledge of Fluids, Cement and Cuttings Waste treatment techniques and also, rig equipment.
• Assist the Fluids, Cement and Waste Supervisor (FSV) for all daily operations
• Assist specific critical operations on rig sites when required.
• Follow up all field operations.
• Assist the FSV to control logistics and inventory management on wells pad.
• Review and report analyses of any equipment failure or non-conformance services.
• Review and report solids control equipment efficiency.
• Assist the FSV to review contractor’s design for cementing operations and close supervision at the rig site.
• Presence during Morning call (Drilling report from Rig to Town.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Qualification:
• MSc or BSc (or equivalent professional experience)
• Mud & cement school training.

Experience:
• Academic Drilling and Wells plus mud & cementing school training
• Minimum of 1 years of international and operational experience, both in fluids, cement and cuttings waste treatment
• International experience preferentially in land operations.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
