JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the Job
• To conduct routine internal audit engagements in accordance with existing regulations and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Verifies receipts, matches and undertakes on-line reconciliation of invoices and Local Purchase Orders for goods and services procured prior to effecting payments.
• Compiles accountability returns, verifies and retires advance ledgers.
• Maintains primary financial records and up-to-date books of account.
• Prepares periodic reconciliations of financial statements and carries out monthly cash book reconciliations to bank statements.
• Verifies payroll change requests and reports to ensure correctness of computations, payments and deductions; certifies and follows-up approvals and payment to beneficiaries.
• Performs other official duties as assigned by the Internal Auditor.

Person Specifications
• Should have a degree in Finance and Accounting.
• Should have high integrity with good communication and people skills.
• Should be computer literate.

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
