Key, Duties and Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
i. MSc. Crop Science or Seed Science and Technology or Plant Breeding and Seed Systems (with research in Seed Science and Technology) or MSc. Agriculture (Seed Science and Technology);
ii. At least a second-class upper degree in BSc. Agriculture or Horticulture
i. Master of Science in Statistics or Biostatistics or Biometry;
ii. At least a second-class upper degree in BSc. or BSc. Statistics or Mathematics

Other Essential Qualifications
• Teaching, examining and grading students;
• Supervision of research for students;
• Mentoring of junior staff;
• Conducting research and community outreach activities;
• Writing proposals for attracting funding to the department;
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
