JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
To install and maintain the electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare the preventive maintenance schedule and ensure its implementation
• Take care of the PLC panels, VFD’s configurations, instrumentations system & logics and control wiring.
• Prepare the list of critical spares of electrical maintenance and instrumentation and inform stores to hold the minimum stock
• The electrical and instrumentation break down to be below 2%
• Ensure regular preventive maintenance is being carried out by team and monitor them on daily basis
• Daily shop floor rounds and observing the health of the instruments and electrical installations
• Timely submission of statutory returns and carrying out statutory check ups, for respective equipment as per the requirements of the government control authorities
• Selecting and training the electrical engineers and electricians
• To carry out the maintenance activities of HT and LT of New unit based on the list of machines and systems intended to install
• Take care of the instrumentation and control cabling
• Participate and implement the Quality, Food safety and ERP system implementation
• Ensuring the quality, food safety, ERP systems don’t get affected due to the functioning of electrical department
• Weekly and Monthly MIS submission on time
• To carryout the other activities as per the requirement of the company
Education and Professional Qualifications
• Diploma/ B.E – Electrical and Instrumentation
Work Experience
• 10-15 yrs work experience for a diploma holder or 7-13 yrs work experience for a degree holder
• Experience in normal electrical, Instrumentation and electronics Maintenance and Electrical system installations
• Electronic and Instrumentation maintenance and installation desirable
• Reading Ladder drawing is desirable
Skills
• Software skills : Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Communication skills: Written & Oral
• Quality Standards: ISO, HACCP & BRC
• Facilitation & Training skills
• Process improvement skills

Level of Education: Associate Degree
