JOB DETAILS:
Job Description
To ensure that general insurance claims are handled expeditiously and in a professional manner thereby meeting the customer expectations and the Company's Corporate Objectives.
• Constantly monitor the claims processes and procedures and ensure that these are maintained at all times and ensure compliance to QOP and ISO 9001.
• Ensure that quality and timely service is offered to customers and that we maintain a cordial relationship with our customers.
• Constantly review claims process to reflect high level of efficiency and adaptation to prevailing economic, legal and social environment.
• Monitor and report the internal processes
• Oversee the claims process to ensure smooth processing of capturing and vetting as per manuals
• Monitor, evaluate and report on utilization and trends of utilization to control expenditure
• Negotiate professional fees and hospital charges
• Monitor, control and prevent medical claims fraud by constantly reviewing internal processes and providers
• Update the medical provider contacts
• Review departmental reports to align efficiency of claims process
• Prepare weekly and monthly claims reports
