JOB DETAILS:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Production Management:
o Coordinate and manage daily coffee production schedules to meet targets.
o Oversee the entire coffee processing workflow and ensure efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
• Quality Control:
o Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance of quality control measures to meet MAIF (UCDA) export standards.
o Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Team Leadership and Development:
o Supervise, train, and motivate production staff.
o Provide performance coaching and evaluations.
o Promote a safety and teamwork-focused culture.
• Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
o Oversee raw material inventory to prevent overstocking.
o Coordinate with procurement to ensure prompt coffee bean supplies and deliveries.
o Manage packaging material inventory to prevent production delays.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
o Conduct safety audits and address hazards.
o Implement corrective actions to maintain employee safety.
• Cost Control and Efficiency:
o Identify opportunities to reduce production costs and improve efficiency.
o Monitor resource usage (raw materials, energy, labor) to minimize waste.
o Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare regular reports on production progress, output, and quality metrics.
o Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
o Collaborate with management on forecasting production targets.
• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
A strong educational foundation in any of the following is essential:
• BSc. Engineering or Food Science Technology
