JOB DETAILS:
Job Description
Based in Kampala, Uganda, under the supervision of the Senior Coordinator - Operations, the Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, clerical, technical and general support assistance to the Office.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or High diploma in Administration, Logistics or related field.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in a similar position gained in an international organization.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Fluency in English
• 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
• High degree of attention to detail
• Data entry experience
• Working knowledge of general office equipment

Benefits
This is a locally recruited position, and all benefits are denominated and paid in Ugandan Shillings. The Alliance of Bioversity & CIAT remuneration package includes a competitive salary, leave provisions and medical insurance. The initial contract will be for a period of two (2) years, subject to a probationary period of six months and is renewable based on performance and availability of funds.
