JOB DETAILS:
The company is looking for competent and qualified Ugandans to fill the following existing vacancies in the organization. About us: Fiduga Ltd is a flower farm incorporated in Uganda since 1998 producing and exporting Chrysanthemum Cuttings. It is a subsidiary of Dummen Orange The Netherlands B.V. Fiduga Ltd is located 22km. Kampala-Masaka road at former Nsimbe Estates.

Job Summary
The Audit and Certification Officer will be responsible for ensuring company products and processes meet specific standards set by regulatory bodies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement internal Company Policies as required by regulatory bodies
• Ensure the processes and products are compliant with set standards.
• Proper documentation and Standardization of company Policies and Procedures in accordance with regulatory requirement.
• Make regular reports on matters related to certification and compliance
• Carry out internal audits of the company from time to time to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
• Responsible for coordinating external audits of the company Analyze audit results and prepare reports.
• Develop and implement training Programs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Diploma/certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage
• An understanding of the floriculture industry, including production processes, supply chain dynamics, market trends, and sustainability practices.
• In-depth knowledge of major certifications such as ISO, MPS SQ, GAP, Greencare and Green compliance
• Knowledge in certification processes, auditing, risk and compliance assessment,
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong sense of urgency and achievement (result oriented)
• Fluent in English/ Luganda is an added advantage
• Must have impeccable character and high integrity.
