JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
• B2B Lubes Field based Account Managers’ core objective is to develop and grow B2B Lubricants business and deliver business volume and margin plans.
• To maintain great relationships with relevant B2B customer portfolio across all key sectors.
• Develop and deploy relevant customer value propositions to drive mutual gain with relevant customer portfolio.
• Work collaborative with all B2B Field Based Account managers to full-fill Joint business plans for lubricants growth across all key B2B sectors.
Deliver technical value-added services to B2B customer portfolio in collaboration with the Senior Lubes Technical advisor and in alignment with annual technical plan.
• Adhere to Group business principles and company policies regarding health, safety and the environment
• Achieve targets on sales volumes and margins within the defined customer base for all relevant lubricants grades.
• Work in collaboration with Field based account managers to develop and maintain dedicated lubricants growth actions aligned in Joint business plans for the prioritized key accounts. Action plans should have clear key performance indicators that support delivery of overall B2B lubricants business plan.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
• To drive increased profitability of B2B Lubes business whilst meeting the challenges of a highly competitive environment.
• Drive increased customer penetration through dedicated cross-selling and up-selling initiatives across all key sectors and across the relevant lubricants grades.
• To effectively manage commercial debtors within agreed levels.
• Drive growth of B2B Lubricants customer based by delivering in key customer prospecting actions and accelerated conversion of existing prospect base.
Key Challenges:
• Ensure consistent delivery of VEU’s Obligations to customers in a safe manner.
• Manage Customer Financial issues including, pricing, Invoicing, Credit, among others as appropriate.
• Manage trade debt and keep overdue at <5% of accounts receivables
• Ensure balance on customer profitability and business volume
• Connect with B2B customer technical and operations managers and ensure technical value is effectively articulated for business conversion.
• Collaborate with relevant B2B FBAMs and Senior Technical Advisor to deliver B2B Lubes Business plan
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
• Strong technical background – Mechanical engineering or relevant field is critical.
• Good understanding of sales and marketing and the ability to translate plans into action.
• Sales experience with bottom line accountability and results delivery
• Strong selling and proven competence in negotiation.
• Motivated and high standard of personal presentation
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Business Acumen and Marketing Spirit.
• Good understanding of value-based selling.
