BID INVITATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS,

FOR DIRECT AID SOCEITY (DAS).

PROCUREMENT 1/PJCT/2023

1. DIRECT AID SOCIETY (DAS) has a program of constructing projects in various parts of the country (UGANDA), to be done in this calendar year 2023. 2. The procurement committee of DAS, invites bids from qualified, competent, and eligible contractors/firms to submit in their bids for the works comprising:

(i) Mosques of Various sizes, with empty able toilets.

(ii) Classroom Blocks with empty able toilets.

(iii) School Stores in our centers.

(iv) Guest houses in our centers.

(v) Deep boreholes with hand pump.

(vi) Production boreholes with SOLAR powered motorized pump, water tank (10,000 liters) and 8 taps outlets.

3. Bid handouts document (SOFT COPY ONLY) will be sent to interested companies, who should Send request (be specific on what is required) to Email; uganda@direct-aid.org and give copy to Eng.uganda@direct-aid.org  

4. Bid-documents shall be in hard copy. Bids (quotations only) to be submitted in clearly marked, sealed Envelopes, brought physical to our office in Kampala - Rubaga division -Najjanankumbi, Wamala Road, and dropped in the bid box by the company during office working hours, NOT LATER THAN 1st May 2023 before 4:00pm, late bids shall be rejected.

5. Other company documents like profiles should be bided separately and handed over to the projects office in address mentioned in 4 above. Companies that have never done any project with us, documents must be supported by the following;

(i) VAT registration certificate

(ii) Current Trading license.

(iii) Proof of past experience in works intended for.

(iv) Certificate of incorporation or Registration of name, Memorandum and articles of Association. Any other detailed company profile.

6. Unofficial collaboration between bidders and organization staff, will lead to disqualification of the bid.

7. The Organization shall not be bound to accept either the lowest or highest bid. Bids will be evaluated, and contract awarded on competitive basis.
