INVITATION TO BID FOR PROVISION OF WATER WEED CONTROL SERVICES AT KARUMA HPP: UEGCL/CONS/2022-23/00166

1. The Uganda Electricity Generation Company Ltd has allocated funds to be used for the Provision of Water Weed Control Services at Karuma Hydro Power Plant.

2. The Entity invites your sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above services.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below (8) from 9:00am - 4:00pm.

5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be on UEGCL A/C No. 9030011177319, Stanbic Bank upon which they shall present a bank slip as proof of payment.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below (8) at or before 11:00am on Tuesday 10th January 2023. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 6,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Six Million only). Bid securities must be valid until 31 May, 2023. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 11:10am on Tuesday 10th January, 2023

7. There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting/site visit.
