Standard Invitation to Bidders
BID NOTICE FOR AVIATION FUEL, OILS AND LUBRICANTS UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING REF. NO: EACAA/SUPLS/24-25/00104.

1. The East African Civil Aviation Academy-Soroti has allocated funds from the Government of Uganda to be used for the acquisition of supplies and services under framework contracts for a period of twenty-four (24) months.

2. The East African Civil Aviation Academy now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies and services.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all eligible bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in (8a) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on working days.

5. The complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address in (8a) below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). Payment shall be made to the East African Civil Aviation Academy account number 9030754704 Soroti Branch, and a receipt will be issued upon presentation of the bank payment slip.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address in (8a) at or before 11:30 am on 10th February 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (8b) at 11:30 am on 10th February 2025.

7. There shall not be a pre-bid meeting/site visit on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.

8. Documents may be inspected at:
   (a) The Head, Procurement & Disposal Unit, East African Civil Aviation Academy, P.O. Box 333, Soroti.
   (b) Address for bid submission: As in (a) above.
   (c) Address for bid opening: As in (a) above.
