JOB DETAILS:
Key Job Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and issue educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
• Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters if necessary.
• Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
• Organize supplies and resources for lessons and presentations.
• Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
• Plan and implement educational activities and events.
• Organize the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning environment
• Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and termly report cards to ensure progress of the learners.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings to provide feedback on the students’ progress.
• Implement the designated curriculum completely and in due time.
• Ensure the safe custody and optimum use of equipment under your care.
• Promote the general progress and well-being of students as well as always safeguarding their health and safety.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of every student.
• Maintain discipline and order among students.
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Carryout any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the head teacher

Teacher Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in the teaching field
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a teacher
• Must be registered with the Ministry of Education & Sports
• In-depth and practical knowledge of teaching methods, and legal educational practices
• UNEB Examiner is preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Well-organized with excellent leadership abilities
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
• Must be computer literacy.
