Mt Elgon Hospital Mbale Ltd located on Plot 10-12, Independence Avenue, in Mbale Municipality is a private hospital which has been in operation since 2010 with a mission of providing quality clinical services
The hospital seeks self-driven young professionals to fill the following vacancies.
1.Biomedical Engineer Reports to – Operations Manager (1)
A minimum of a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering with 3 years working Experience or Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering with 2 years working experience
Main Responsibilities
• Service, maintain, and or repair biomedical equipment.
• Analyze new medical procedures in order to forecast likely outcomes.
• Advising & providing expertise to the medical staff & administration.
• Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
• Maintaining records; for e.g. equipment history.
• Setting standards & ensuring their compliance.
• Involvement in the activities of the hospital’s safety committee & checking safety hazards.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
