JOB DETAILS:
Building/Equipment/Erection/Assembly Qc Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure that all products being produced meet quality standards and are put together correctly.
• Lead a team of QC Advisors
• ensure that quality standards are maintained by Inspecting and approving incoming materials, Inspecting, and approving construction activities.
• Inspecting all in-process production, including testing and commissioning and.
• Confirming that the delivered building materials, structure, and equipment meets project requirements including any approved changes.
• Ensure that work is carried out and completed in accordance with codes, standards, design drawings, specifications, other relevant project documents and generally accepted construction, installation and assembly means and methods.
• Supervising other staff members and providing training to ensure that they are able to perform their duties successfully
• Overseeing work site safety and making sure all safety protocols are followed
• Communicating with team members about production schedules, materials needed, etc.
• Conducting periodic inspections to ensure that products meet quality standards
• Monitoring the progress of production processes to ensure that they are running smoothly
• Ensuring that all safety equipment is in good working order such as hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.
• Scheduling shifts and shifts changes according to requirements
• Directing workers to complete tasks that require specialized skills or knowledge such as welding or operating machinery
• Managing teams of workers to complete projects on time and within budget.


Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Construction Management, or equivalent, in or applicable discipline.
• Professional training in quality management such as ISO 9001
• Qualifications in non-destructive testing
• Strong experience in quality control in the oil and gas industry
• Experience with ISO9001 Standards and ISO9001 audits
• Experience with Customer and supplier audits
• Experienced in overseeing the work of construction Contractors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Familiar with EACOP Project standards for the construction of pipelines and Above Ground Installations
• Experienced in planning the surveillance of building Civil / Welding / Coating / Mechanical activities
• Experienced in selecting competent members of the team of Civil / Welding / Coating / Mechanical Inspectors
• Experienced in leading a team of Civil / Welding / Coating / Mechanical Inspectors
• Experienced in NCR resolution, root cause analysis and trend analysis
• Experienced in reporting on the surveillance of Civil / Welding / Coating / Mechanical activities
• Experienced in providing on-the-job training to the Inspection team and supporting Contractors unfamiliar with working to the standards used in the Oil & Gas industry.
