JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
• The Bursar oversees the school finance and accounting department and is responsible in implementing the overall accounting and financial control system. The Bursar will review, develop and monitor the implementation of the financial and accounting policies and guidelines.

Main Duties And Responsibilities:
• To prepare annual costing projections and school annual budget
• Prepare financial reports, in compliance with school Policies and international financial reporting standards.
• To administer, develop and monitor school budget.
• Ensure adherence to school's regulations and procedures.
• To manage the process of receipting, recording and reconciliation of all school income.
• To ensure that all procurements and ordering processes are complete, reliable and monitored. •Ensure that all payments are adequately supported, authorized and comply with school regulations and requirements.
• Ensure that bank reconciliations are prepared and reviewed monthly.
• Ensure that timely statutory returns are filled with the respective authorities. Supervise accounts staff.
• Undertake any assigned responsibilities, meet cyclical and other deadlines,

Qualifications
• Degree in Business, accounting, Finance and Management with practical hands-on preparation and presentation of financial accounts.
• Proven record of trust and professionalism At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
