Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is a Catering Company offering Inflight/Onboard Catering services and Corporate Catering with various retail outlets within Entebbe International Airport. Newrest is looking for a qualified and experienced person to fill the following position:
Job tittle- Business Developer.
Reporting: To General Manager and based in
Kampala.
Job description:
• Identify and meet with potential clients.
• Any potential client for the B&I activity in Uganda.
• Participate in Oil and Gas events: exhibitions, conferences, across the country.
• Ensure Newrest brand visibility in line with Head Quarter communication department
• Reinforce the awareness of Newrest as the international catering company in Uganda.
• Handle any inquires or updates in regard to the specifications as they arise.
• Search for catering bids in the Newspapers everyday and pass them to the GM and HRM.
• Ensure timely response to all client complaints.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Previous experience in business Development
• Good communicator
• Mature,professional attitude and personality
• Able to work , yet excellent team player
• Proficiency in using computer applications sofware: Word (word processing),Acess (date base), Excel (spreadsheet) and Outlook (E-mail);PowerPoint.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Results Oriented.
• Analytical and Logical thinker
• Committed and Loyal to the company
• Honest, Integrity, reliable
• Open to suggestions,able and willing to adapt or learn.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Marketing or International Business from a recognized University.
• Masters Degree will be an added advantage.
