Job Purpose
The On-call Casual Worker - Loader/Offloader is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by offloading and loading items for distribution and storage. The role includes stacking, arranging, and maintaining proper organization within the warehouse and stores. The worker will also be tasked with slashing and cleaning warehouse premises, ensuring the safe storage of tools, cleaning equipment, and materials.
"On-call" refers to employees who are not regularly scheduled but are available to work when needed. They may be contacted at short notice to perform duties during specific situations or emergencies. The worker is expected to be ready and accessible for assignments as required.The On- Call Casual Worker for Alight will be paid a daily rate of Ugx: 20,000 per day worked.

Duties/Responsibilities
1. Offloading all items received at the warehouse and at ALIGHT stores
2. Loading items for distribution and other purposes at the warehouse and stores
3. Stacking and arranging all items in the warehouse and stores
4. Slashing and cleaning warehouse premises
5. Ensure safe storage and maintenance of cleaning items, tools and equipment.
6. Adhere to organization’s code of conduct and maintain the organizations image.
7. Undertake any other duties assigned.

Qualifications and experience
• Ordinary Level Education certificate
• Must speak fluent English
• At least I year experience in a similar role.
• Must be in good health
• Experience in working with multi-cultural environments
• MUST be strictly residing in Areas near Naguru, Ntinda , Bukoto, Nakawa
