JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities:
• Safe Navigation: Assume command and safely navigate the vessel through various water routes, harbors, and ports while adhering to international maritime laws and regulations.
• Vessel Operations: Oversee all aspects of vessel operations, including cargo loading and unloading, maintenance, and crew management.
• Safety and Emergency Response: Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety drills, and be prepared to respond to emergencies effectively.
• Navigation and Route Planning: Plan and optimize voyage routes, considering weather conditions, tides, currents, and fuel efficiency.
• Crew Management: Supervise and manage the vessel's crew, ensuring proper training, compliance, and efficient teamwork.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with shoreside personnel, including port authorities, clients, and company management.
• Cargo Handling: Oversee the proper stowage, securing, and handling of cargo to prevent damage and ensure safe transport.
• Maintenance: Ensure the vessel's maintenance and repair schedules are followed, and that all equipment is in good working order.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, records, and reports related to vessel operations and compliance.

• Strong familiarity with safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to handle the physical demands of the role.
• Valid seafarer medical certificate.
