Our Unique Selling Position as a Car Rental agent leader is striving to provide better customer service, and placing a greater emphasis on customer satisfaction. We have to keep ourselves abreast on the latest trends in customer service and maintain good communication skills. In addition, we also focus on building relationships with customers so that they feel valued and appreciated.

Overview of the Role:
The key to our success is based around our team. We partner with highly skilled and experienced individuals and give them the tools to build success. We are now calling for a partnership opportunity as a Car Rental Managing Partner who will work to ensure the success of the product.
This role requires a creative and innovative individual to design ride sharing opportunities for customers and processing paperwork in the shortest time possible.
This partnership is based on percentage share of the profits realized which is a much better compensation than a monthly salary if you have the required skills and experience. You are mostly working remotely with the other team members to meet goals.

Responsibilities
• Plan advertising and marketing campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
• Managing the Google Display and Search Adverts and Social Media Accounts.
• Processing paperwork such as collecting signatures and scanning IDs to ensure compliance with local laws.
• Communicating with customers to answer questions and address concerns about their reservations or rental vehicles.
• Explaining insurance coverage, including deductible requirements and optional coverage available for an additional fee.
• Helping customers choose a vehicle that meets their needs, based on factors such as price, mileage allowance, and number of seatbelts.
• Providing customers with directions to their destinations using maps or other tools such as Global Positioning System (GPS) devices.
• Explaining local traffic laws and regulations, such as speed limits and fines for parking violations.
• Processing rental applications in accordance with company standards, including credit checks and driving records checks for all drivers over 20 years of age.
• Arranging for repairs to damaged vehicles or arranging for replacements when vehicles experience mechanical breakdown.
• Coordinating with auto repair shops to schedule maintenance or repairs for vehicles
• Training new Car Rental Agents.
• Manage the Lafab Car Rental blog and contribute to articles or oversee contributors

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Car rental agents are typically required to have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some car rental agencies may require a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Relevant coursework includes business, finance, accounting, economics and marketing.
Training & Experience: Most car rental companies will train new hires in their specific processes and procedures. Training may include shadowing an experienced agent or completing a training course online. Training may last a few days to a few weeks.
Certifications & Licenses: Certifications allow you to prove your skills and qualifications to current and potential employers. Car rental agents don’t need any certifications, but some car rental companies require agents to pass a written test to get a rental agent license.

Required Skills

• Customer service: Provide a positive experience for customers by greeting customers positively, answer their questions and help them find the right car for their needs to inspire repeat business with the customers.
• Communication: Communicate with customers to answer their questions and provide them with the information they need. You must also communicate with your coworkers to share information and answer questions.
• Detail-oriented: Being detail-oriented means you can notice small changes in your surroundings. You will need to be detail-oriented to ensure you provide customers with the correct information and paperwork. You will also need to be detail-oriented when entering customer information into a computer system to ensure correct information and avoid any errors.
• Problem-solving: Problem-solving skills allow you to identify and resolve issues for customers. When you encounter situations where customers need help finding a solution to a problem. For example, if a customer’s credit card is declined, you will need to help them find an alternative payment method. Your problem-solving skills can help you find a solution quickly and efficiently.
• Computer skills: You will use computers to input customer information, search for cars and process transactions. Having strong computer skills will help you complete your job duties efficiently. You will also use your computer skills to learn more about the car rental industry, including how to use software programs that help you manage customer information and track sales.
