Description
The position holder will oversee the organization’s financial resources and ensure that they are adequate, well managed and properly utilized for effective implementation of the planned activities.

Qualifications
• 1st Degree preferably in B. Com (Accounting), BBA (Accounting) or BSC/BA Economics, with full professional qualifications in ACCA, CPA or CIMA.
• The successful candidate must have 6 years’ work experience in Finance, Accounting or Auditing; 4 of which should have been at senior managerial levels in organisations similar to Mildmay Uganda. He/she must have proven knowledge of donor financial accounting (multi-donor reporting) and clear understanding of GoU and IAS/AFRS accounting requirements. Additional requirements are; hands-on-computer proficient skills in MS Word, MS Excel and knowledge of Navision systems.
• All applicants must have Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills, Dynamic systems thinking, high taste for innovation, and continuous quality improvement; in addition to a Non-judgmental approach to human relations; be in sympathy with Mildmay Uganda’s Christian values; possess good communication and interpersonal skills; and must be able to maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues. Customer focus is paramount.
