o Oversee the financial management and reporting for Amuria District Local Government.
o Ensure compliance with government regulations regarding financial policies and procedures.
o Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring proper allocation and utilization of resources.
o Supervise and provide leadership to the finance team within the district.
o Prepare and present periodic financial reports to stakeholders.

• Qualifications:
o A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
o A professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.
o At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in government or public institutions.
o Excellent knowledge of public financial management systems.
