JOB DETAILS:
Our client, a prominent international microfinance company with a strong presence across five African nations, is actively seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their dedicated team.
This exciting opportunity is based in Uganda, a country brimming with economic potential and vibrant culture.
As the company continues to expand its footprint in the region, the new COO will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives, fostering growth, and ensuring operational excellence.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in developing broad-scoped business relationships and managing and growing second stage companies
• Ability to develop, layout, and follow through on detailed business plans and programs Strong negotiating ability, interpersonal and leadership skills, self-confidence, business and financial acumen, oral and written communication skills
• Integrative team working style, easy contact, rapid to adaptation, can foster team spirit • Able to effectively interface with all levels of on-site and off-site employees and
• contractors.
• Working knowledge of assigned systems and client organization and practices Team player with a competitive spirit to excel and the ability to influence and motivate others.
