JOB DETAILS:
Activities
• Prepare and maintain sketches maps reports and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe certify and assume liability for work performed.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Undertake land/topography/hydrographic surveys using appropriate equipment and technology;
• Analyze data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Land Development, GIS and others as appropriate
• Direct or conduct surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties based on legal deeds and titles.
• Record the results of surveys including the shape, contour, location, elevation and dimensions of land or land features.
• Calculate heights depths relative positions property lines and other characteristics of terrain.
• Prepare or supervise preparation of all data charts plots maps records and documents related to surveys.
• Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds leases or other legal documents.
• Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines elevations and other geodetic measurements.
• Search legal records survey records and land titles in order to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed.
• Control the survey related works.
• Train the staff on the site for survey
• Produce detail and documentations for the construction and implementation of projects.
• Supervise the site survey and control all the activities on sit
• Coordinate the site staff and machinery etc.
• Overseeing the work of junior staff throughout the life of project.
• Constantly monitor and report on the progress of survey.
• Assist all the project according to the survey standards
• Perform any other task related to his job.
Qualifications and Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Survey Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience in Dam or Road projects
• Good understanding of structural and architectural works for building projects
• Excellent Organizational multitasking and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of MS Office and related Programs
• Good command of speaking and writing English
