JOB TITLE: Clinical Instructors (Nursing & Midwifery)
REF: JICHS-004NR-02-2019
AGE: Above 23 years old.
JOB PURPOSE:
To impart practical skills to the trainees by instructing and supervising them during, demonstrations, practical and field work sessions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and selects appropriate instructional materials and skills laboratory equipment; to assist the tutors in preparation for practical lectures; Participates in planning for the practicum training for the students; to instill discipline among the trainees; to coordinate and supervise co-curricular activities; to guide and counsel students/trainees; Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of a Diploma in Midwifery or Nursing or both. A qualification in instructors’ course is an added advantage. The above qualification must be from recognized and accredited Institution(s) of learning. The education/tutorship qualification must be recognized by the Uganda Ministry of Education and Sports. All the applicants must have a valid practicing license issued/or certified by the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC), with all the above mentioned qualifications Registered by the UNMC.
• Teaching and skills laboratory Experience in a reputable Educational or Health Institutions is an added advantage, but not a must.
COMMENCEMENT OF WORK
• Work Commences on 15th March 2019.

Njeru – Municipal Council in Buikwe District just before the Owen falls Dam, near Jinja Municipality, on your way from Kampala; on Kampala – Jinja Highway.
