Uganda Petroleum Institute, Kigumba (UPIK) is a Government Tertiary Institution which was created by the Statutory Instruments No. 31 of 2011, of the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act, 2001 as amended. The mandate of UPIK is to provide world-class education and training in fields related to Oil and Gas sector. Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba now invites applications from qualified Ugandans who fully meet the required job specifications and with the right personal attributes to occupy the following job positions in the institute's structure.
Clinical Officer
Scale: U5
Duties
• Examine and diagnose students and staff health conditions.
• Make referral eases to appropriate medical institutions.
• Maintain proper records of patients and administered drugs
• Other health education to students and stall.
• Manage and account for allocated resources
• Any other duties assigned from time to time
Person Specifications
• Applicants must be holders of Diploma in Clinical medicine and Community Health obtained from a recognised r training institution with at least two years relevant working experience‘
• Must be registered with and licensed by the Allied Health Profession Council
