True North Consult Ltd is a leading Human Resources Consultancy Firm in Uganda. Our Client, FAWEU, is a Non-Governmental Organization established in 1997 to address gender disparities in Education. FAWE Uganda has secured funding from the MasterCard Foundation to implement the Higher Education Access Programme and therefore seeks to hire competent, dynamic and experienced professionals to till the following positions;

Title: Communication & Advocacy Officer
Duty station: Kampala, Head Office
Report to: Executive Director

Job Summary: The Communication & Advocacy Officer plays a key role in the development and implementation of FAWEU's communication and advocacy initiatives in order to increase visibility of FAWEU and the impact of her interventions. The job holder works with the programmes team to develop strategies for effective communication, advocacy campaigns and stakeholder engagement.

Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or a related field is essential with at least 5 years‘experience in a similar position. Training & experience in desktop publishing and advanced computer literacy (Ms Word, Excel, PPT, Web Based Research, etc) is essential. , For further details visit our website www.truenorthafrica.com
