Job title: Construction Manager
The Construction Manager is overall accountable and responsible of the operations on the jobsite. He/she is the first on site and the last to leave. Construction of pipelines and adjacent concrete works do not have secrets anymore, after 20 years of similar work experience.

Main duties & Responsibilities:
The Construction Manager will oversee, direct, and guarantee the following deliverables are fulfilled in a safe and efficient manner:
• Monitoring and directing construction projects from conception to completion
• Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor and ensure strict compliance with building and safety regulations
• Liaising and working cooperatively with construction workers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Examining and reviewing construction work progress daily Negotiating contracts and terms of agreements, drafting contracts, and obtaining permits and licenses

• Examining, assessing, managing, and mitigating risks
• Ensuring that construction standards are of high quality and proper construction techniques are utilized
• Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and all other relevant regulations.
• See to it that all sub-contractors follow the procedure as stated in the QHSE Plan
• Provide feedback to Management.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 25 years of experience in Construction industry
• Adequate knowledge and technical understanding of construction such as knowledge of building codes, trade sequencing, and best Construction practices, as these enable construction managers to handle complex and detailed projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as he or she is required to coordinate and liaise with a variety of different professionals such as contractors, subcontractors, city inspectors, architects, and suppliers
• Strong judgment, as this enables a construction manager to decide majorly for construction projects, while also fully understanding the implications of his or her decisions
• Good financial management skills and budgeting experience
• Project controls, which involves the ability to evaluate data and determine the needs of a project
• A Master's / Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or in a related field is an asset, not a must.
• Must be a Negotiator and businessperson with the ability to forge solid relationships with strategic partners

• Must Have an in-depth knowledge on international HSE standards and Codes of practices

Safety, Social, Health and Environmental Manager
The SSHE Manager is the overall accountable and responsible for health, security, social, safety and environmental performance of the organisation, the creation and development of health, safety and environmental policies, ensuring these policies are monitored and implemented. He/she is responsible for creating HSE standards and HSE goals for the project, ensures risk assessment are carried out and safe working procedures are implemented, He carries out regular site inspections and provide guidance and advice to management within the organisation, He prioritise safety in all aspect and makes sure the required PPEs are distributed, and oversees that they are been used correctly. He implements safety and environmental initiatives and asses competence of the employees within safety roles and sometimes gives training to employees on each task / job that is been undertaken The QSHE Manager should lead by example and uphold the mission and values of DENYS.

Main duties & Responsibilities:
The QHSE manager will oversee, direct, and guarantee the following deliverables are fulfilled in a safe and efficient manner:
• Prepares project Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Social Safeguard plan
• Oversee Denys safety program and coordinate, consistent application of the safety policies and program
• Develop, conduct or manage all safety training for Denys, including but not limited to: Safety Policy and Procedures, Supervisory Training, Policy Manual Training, Medical Response Training, Fire Drill, Toolbox Talks etc.
• Develop and manage effective system for controlling the Denys Safety Manual, including but not limited to: Updating policies on a timely basis as laws, rules and conditions.
• Identify workplace safety hazards and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize them.
• Develop and review, with recommendations to Denys senior management, policies, procedures and programs that will reduce or eliminate accidents and injuries and prevent issuance of regulatory citations.
• Prepare and update all project Risk Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment of the project Establish Safety and Environmental standards
• Make regular proactive site visit to ensure safety procedures are adhered to
• Ensures PPEs are distributed equally and make sure they are used correctly to prevent pre-mature damage
• Evaluate subcontractor's QSHE-plans, performance and oversee all subcontractors to follow the procedures as stated in the Denys' QHSE Plan
• Provide feedback to Management.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience as QSSHE Manager in Construction industry specifically
• Master's degree in Health, Safety and Environment / Degree in Occupational Health safety and Environment
• Must posses either a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or International Diploma In OHSE (Nebosh, OHSAS , ISO)
• Must be Affiliated to external QHSE body e.g. IOSH, IIRSM, or local affiliation
• Superior organizational and problem-solving skills Clear and concise communicator
• Must Have an in-depth knowledge on international HSE standards and Codes of practices
