JOB DETAILS:
The Democratic Governance Facility _(DGF) is a multi-donor funding mechanism aimed at strengthening governance, promoting and protecting human rights, enhancing access to justice, and improving accountability in Uganda by working with state and non-state institutions at national, regional and district levels throughout the country. Seven development partners fund DGF: Austria, Denmark, European Union, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
The DGF is looking for consultants to undertake the following assignments:
1. Conducting a study on governing board influence on Civil Society in Uganda - to establish the functionality of civil society boards, and their influence over their respective organizations.
2. Providing organizational capacity strengthening technical services to DGF’s implementing partners - in different capacity areas as indicated in the partners’ capacity strengthening plans.
3. Providing professional photography services - to capture and produce high-quality photos that can be reproduced in print, multi-media and online formats, to showcase the impact of the work implemented by DGF’s partners. .
