The Women Institute of Technology & Innovation (WITI), invites applications for a one-year, benefits eligible position at the rank of Course Facilitators/Tutors (Part time only) ready to begin immediately for Program in Computer Science & Entrepreneurship, and Data Sciences

Responsibilities.
• Key teaching responsibilities for this position will include;
• Introductory Computers Science courses (including among other frameworks like; PHP, CSS, React, Vue,),
• Introductory programming using Python, beginner to intermediate Data Science & Machine Learning Algorithms courses.
• Other Software development courses may be allocated for facilitation depending upon the candidate’s field of specialization.
• Android App development software experience is desirable

Requirements
• BS in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or practical computer/software engineering experience in related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience writing production-level code in Python; experience with Java and React.js, real-time systems, and generic programming are highly desirable.
• Female Candidates with some good working knowledge in Computer Science and programming are highly encouraged to apply.
• Candidates should have a strong foundation in practical Software engineering, Computer Programming using python, Website and app development and experience.
• Mathematical fundamentals, including: linear algebra, vector calculus, probability, and statistics. Experience implementing this math effectively in software (e.g. Python, numpy, C++/Java, etc.).
• Basic Git/GitHub or agile methodologies knowledge: creating and merging branches, cherry-picking commits, examining the diff between two hashes. More advanced Git usage is a plus, particularly: development on feature-specific branches, squashing and rebasing commits, and breaking large changes into small, easily-digestible diffs.
