Job Description:
The Credit Field Administrator will play a key role in supporting the credit operations of our organization, assisting with loan processing, documentation, and record-keeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in processing loan applications, including reviewing documentation, verifying information, and entering data into the system.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare loan documentation, including loan agreements, promissory notes, and other legal documents, as required.
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to collect required documentation and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to loan applications.
• Assist in conducting field credit assessments, analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to evaluate creditworthiness.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance, including tracking repayments, delinquencies, and other key metrics.
• Prepare reports and analysis on credit administration activities, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide administrative support to the credit department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to credit administration.
Education, Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in a financial or lending institution.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Experience in field credit assessment, reporting and administration
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with financial software applications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing lending activities in Uganda is a plus.
