Description
Perfect Finance (U) Limited (PFUL) is Non Deposit taking microfinance institution (MFI) incorporated in Uganda under the companies Act to offer Ugandans convenient, fast and easy access to full range of financial services that suits their needs, with the primary focus of empowering low income entrepreneurs and SMEs in rural and urban centers who unable to access financial services from commercial Banks.

General Description of the Role
To grow Perfect Finance portfolio and clientele as per the approved targets through client mobilization and orientation to Perfect Finance methodologies for loan disbursements. Critical outputs include: Timely Disbursements; Minimized loan default rates; Timely and accurate reports submitted to the Supervisor; Timely loan recovery rates; and Achievement of targeted portfolio growth and performance.

Key Result Areas
Client Mobilization
• Identifying new business opportunities for Perfect Finance Uganda Ltd
• Retain and reward good performing clients.

Loan Disbursement
• Support clients to complete the loan application forms.
• Appraise client loan applications by analyzing applicants’ financial status and credit worthiness, evaluating proposed collateral/property to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Follow up loan applications submitted to the general manager for approval
• Communicate loan approvals/rejections to clients within 8 working hours of reaching decision
• Ensure that the approved loans are disbursed to clients within 8 working hours.

Loan Recovery
• Verify payments made by the clients for accuracy and minimize client arrears
• Ensure good customer care by handling loan related clients’ complaints in time and taking appropriate actions to resolve them.
• Ensure timely banking of collections from clients including loan application fees
• Ensure daily update of the loan repayment register
• Make follow-ups on defaulters, making daily reports of challenges encountered to the Credit supervisor
• Ensure that all the clients pay their loan instalments in full and on time

Delinquency Management
• Ensure Daily loan monitoring and evaluation of existing loans
• Develop daily work plans for client visits and phone calls to remind them of their due dates
• Identify and submit a daily list of loans that are tending towards the P.A.R category to the Head of credit for appropriate action to mitigate against non-performing loan (NPL) growth.
• Schedule monthly Bailiff Meetings to get updates and feedback on the progress of cases with the bailiff.
• Support the Bailiff in the identification of clients and their locations whose files have been handed to him for third party collection

General Duties
• Participate in the generation of a pool of ideas to aid in the development and upgrade of New and existing Perfect Finance Products.
• Actively participate in Perfect Finance management meetings
• Take an active role in ensuring that Perfect Finance property is maintained and kept in good working conditions at all times.
• Any other Perfect Finance Uganda Ltd related duties that maybe assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time

Key Performance Indicators
• Caseload of at least 100 clients at any given time
• Portfolio outstanding of at least 100 million
• Healthy portfolio with a (PAR) 30 days not exceeding 5%
• Client Retention of 90%
• Client acquisition of at least 20 new clients per month
• At least 25 million monthly disbursements.
• Weekly collections and disbursement reports by every first day of the week
• Monthly Portfolio report by the 2nd day of the new month
