JOB DETAILS:

COSL Uganda-SMC Limited is a contractor currently engaged in technology & chemistry projects of TILENGA Oilfield from Total Energies, and the drilling and completion integration project of KINGFISHER Oilfield CNOOC Uganda Ltd.
COSL’s scope of work is highly technical. If you are an experienced professional who possesses major project experience gained with an oil and gas operator or top-tier contractors, and meet the qualifications below, then we are looking for YOU!

Job Description
• Must have independently handled complex downhole conditions for 8 wells, drilling fluid technical service for more than 60 wells, and must complete at least 20 wells extended reach drilling well.
• Should have experience in extended reach well and oil-based mud operation, with at least 25 oil-based mud operation wells.
• Complete drilling and completion fluid quality planning for key operation types twice;
• Must be familiar with drilling technology, fluids (drilling and completion fluids) technology and processes.
• Must be familiar with D&C Fluids materials function, especially pore bridge LCM materials.
• Must assist the superior to implement the Oilfield Chemicals Project Management Regulation and Policies.
• Must review and approve the D&C Fluids Technical Design for Critical Wells and review and approve the Contingency Plan for Critical Wells.
• Must be able to conduct the application of new fluids systems, new additives and new technology, and summarize the result and report to the R & D center.

Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry Application or the related.
• Minimum of at least 12 years of experience in the oil & gas industry and at least 10 years of experience in D&C Fluids Engineering Service.
